FORMAT:
Tuesday AM:
8:30 Shotgun Start. 18 Hole stroke play qualifying round. Low 32 teams at each site advance to the 1st round. Ties for the 32nd spot will be decided by a scorecard playoff #18 backward. Ties for seeding purposes will also be decided by a scorecard playoff. In the event that less than 32 teams enter at on site, qualifying teams from the other site will be moved into the opposite bracket.
Tuesday PM:
Lunch. First round matches may be played on Tuesday afternoon.
Before June 21 First Round Matches. Site and date to be determined by competitors
Before July 19 2nd round matches. Site and date to be determined by competitors.
Before Aug. 9 3rd round matches. Site and date to be determined by competitors.
Before Sept. 6 Quarter Finals. Site and date to be determined by competitors.
September 22 Semi Finals – Traditions Club at Texas A&M, Bryan, TX
September 23 Finals & Consolation – Traditions Club at Texas A&M, Bryan, TX
ELIGIBILITY:
Life Members, Class "A", Master Professionals, Class “B” apprentices who are registered in the Professional Golf Management Program and are eligibly employed in the Southern Texas Section. Inactive & Class F members are not eligible. Two players in the top 30 from the 2007 points list may not form a team. (A-3 Members are considered in the top 30) Points list available at stpga.com.
ENTRY FEE:
$200.00 includes carts, range balls, lunch at the qualifying and 1st round match site.
